SoftWave Therapy for Tissue Recovery, Sexual Wellness & Wound Healing

SoftWave is featured at MFR Physical Therapy and the only SoftWave provider in the Bullhead City area. It can support tissue recovery from injury or chronic pain; when sexual wellness is your concern, private conversations can address ED for men or pelvic floor issues for women; wound healing support is also considered when medically appropriate. SoftWave is an advanced, non-invasive treatment using broad-focused acoustic waves to stimulate healing, reduce pain and swelling, and activate the body's natural repair processes. SoftWave is effective, researched, trusted, and comfortable for a range of conditions. Please see the brochure for more details.

Jumpstart Natural Healing by Activating Your Own Stem Cells

SoftWave is officially identified by its Tissue Regeneration Technology logo and described as supporting healing at the cellular level. Many practitioners refer to this as the recruitment of stem cells from your own body during the healing phase of treatment.

Get back to living—and back in the game

The supplied MFR and sports-focused brochures describe SoftWave as an advanced, non-invasive treatment using broad-focused acoustic waves. They highlight quick, comfortable treatment, pain relief targeting the source, support for blood flow and tissue recovery, and no surgery, needles, or drugs. Sports and active-life concerns include back, knee, shoulder, elbow, and foot pain; shin splints; stress fractures; plantar fasciitis; jumper’s knee; overuse injuries; hamstring pain; scar-tissue treatment; Osgood-Schlatter; Achilles tendinopathy; Morton’s neuroma; and medically reviewed wound or non-union concerns.

What SoftWave may support

Potential treatment areas include tissue recovery from injury or chronic pain, wound healing when medically appropriate, joint and muscle pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, overuse injuries, scar tissue, neuropathic symptoms, lymphedema, lipedema, and post-surgical tissue recovery discussions. Sexual wellness is addressed only when that is the patient’s concern, including erectile dysfunction for men or pelvic floor issues for women. Whether your concern is chronic pain, neuropathy, pre- or post-operative recovery, or sexual health, please see the conditions treated list for more detail.

What to expect

SoftWave pricing and screening

Pricing is $90.00 per session for pay-as-you-go treatment with 1,000 SoftWaves; $150.00 for the initial evaluation with 1,500 SoftWaves; $825 for a 6-session package with 1,500 SoftWaves per session; or $1,250 for a 10-session package with 1,500 SoftWaves per session. SoftWave treatments are currently cash-based except for wound care. Coverage for other indications, including ED, may vary; patients should verify benefits independently. Screening includes relevant implants, pregnancy, active cancerous lesions, recent injections, medications, and other health history. Educational guidance recommends NO NSAIDs for 24 hours before or after SoftWave Treatment. Tylenol, fish oil, and turmeric are fine to take instead; NSAIDs such as aspirin or Advil may dampen the healthy healing response. After a cortisone injection, wait 6 weeks before SoftWave treatment because cortisone can alter the healing response and weaken tissue; your treating provider should confirm the timing for your individual situation.
